biopic 傳記電影
biopic 也可稱之為 biographical film，是以戲劇的方式演繹一個真實人物的一生，與 autobiopic（自傳電影）不同之處在於自傳電影是由本人親自在片中飾演自己，如 Muhammad Ali主演的《拳王阿里》The Greatest 就是一例。
另有兩種演繹真實人物的電影類型：historical film（歷史電影）及註明 based on a true story（改編自真實故事）的電影。biopic 與這兩者不同之處在於 biopic刻畫的是一個人的一生，或是此人對歷史影響至深的關鍵年代裡發生的事，及此人的轉變。
